Yarmouth, MA SCRABBLE® Club

As of November, 2008, there is only one active club on Cape Cod - a club in West Yarmouth which meets starting at 9:00 am every Friday.

The Yarmouth SCRABBLE® Club

This club meets at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with play sometimes coontinuing to 1:00 or 2:00 pm every Friday at the West Yarmouth Senior Center, 528 Forest Road, West Yarmouth, MA. The phone number at the center is 508-394-7606 x1330. You are advised to bring your own lunch. West Yarmouth is located approximately mid-Cape.

This club is open to all ages, and all playing levels are welcome. Although this club meets at a senior center, the center is merely providing space for the club - it is not a seniors-only activity.

The best person to contact with inquiries, such as whether the club will be meeting on a particular Friday is Claire at 508-740-8254.

Directions to the club:

• Take Route 6 to Exit 8, towards Route 28 and South Yarmouth.
  
• On Station Ave. (also called Union), go about a mile to the second light.
  
• Go right onto Old Townhouse Rd. at a gas station.
  
• Go 1/2 mile, and go left onto Forest Rd.
  
• Proceed for 1/4 mile, and the Senior
• Center is on the left, visible from the main entrance in front.
