up to the Massachusetts Scrabble® Clubs
"The Boston Scrabble® Club meets at 95 Washington St., Brighton, very close to its intersection with Commonwealth Ave. This is the building in which club player Judi Rodger lives. To gain entry, one must give a yell or tap on the window of the community room near the front entrance. The club meets in that room on most Mondays from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. or later. On many Mondays, someone could be there early to open up 60-90 minutes ahead of the official starting time, and this can be helpful if you are parking in the neighborhood. No refreshments are provided, so bring your own. There is no fee.
You will more easily find a parking space if you can get parked by 6:00 p.m.; during the next hour, parking gets tougher and tougher to find close by. There is non-resident parking several blocks away on Washington St. near St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Do not park in the nearby Whole Foods lot (nor in the bank lot) after their closing time; you are likely to be towed. If you are arriving late, you can usually find a space to park on Washington St., just past Whole Foods near the "Entering Brookline" sign.
Please let Mike Wolfberg know (at firstname.lastname@example.org) if you want to be on (or off) this club's e-mail notification list, which is used primarily for last-minute cancellations.
