This group meets under the administration of Main Street Extension - the adult education school of Whitman-Hanson Regional School District. There are two 10- to 11-week sessions. The Fall semester begins in early September and runs through the week before Thanksgiving. The Spring semester begins in the first week of March and runs through early June. Play is on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the new Whitman-Hanson Regional High School gymnasium. There is a registration fee of $65 per semester payable to Main Street Extension. The group supplies all equipment, although many players own their own racquets. There are six courts, and the levels of play are from beginner to advanced. Locker rooms are available for changing. There is plenty of parking.
